Having now worked within the animal care and training industry for almost 20 years, I have had many opportunities to gain not only a wealth of knowledge, qualifications and experience, but I have been fortunate enough to work within a field that I am truly passionate about!
For me its a lifestyle choice, not just a job. It never has been.
I'm proud that this has led to CBPC being the multi award winning, well established, successful business that it is, across the u.k.
Initially working for smaller a local business, managing their Pet Department (many of the unwanted Guinea Pigs tended to find their way home with me, and I even began a small breeding programme!), to larger Companies such as Pets At Home, where I was well known as the ‘Animal lady’ and responsible for the welfare of the stores animals,
I gained qualification’s in both Nutrition Consultation, Reptile Care, advising and prescribing licensed medicines for flea and worming. (Animal Medicines Advisor- C-SQP Qualified)
These, along with roles such as managing a Veterinary Training Centre, gave me huge insights and skill sets within Retail and business management which helped facilitate my successful transition into running a thriving, successful business.
I also gained a vast wealth of knowledge and experience within in the field of Equine care, having spent almost 5 years working at top International Dressage yard based in the Midlands, where the highest standards, a good work ethic and hard work were a must, as well as being outside whatever the weather! Undertaking qualifications in Equine Management.
In 2010 I made the decision to go Freelance and began working for individual clients which allowed me to further utilise my skills, and love for working within the Canine and Feline world, as well being able to diversify and expand my Equine knowledge, particularly in the area of Eventing.
A keen advocate for CPD and continuous learning, I gained further qualifications in more specialised fields such as, Canine & Animal Behaviour, Canine Fear, Anxiety & Aggression, Canine Psychology,
As well as having many other very happy individual clients, CBPC work has included consultancy work for Farm Parks and Animal Sanctuaries, which hosted a vast array of animals Farm, Domestic and Exotic. From all the usual small Furries to Goats, Pigs, Alpacas and even Meerkats and Raccoons!
Having always been a pet owner myself, I've always understood just how important it is to find that special person to take care of your furry family members.
I always enjoy taking the time getting to know all of my client’s pets and treat every animal as an individual. They all have specific needs, preferences and requirements, not to mention the new relationships that are formed with you, their lovely humans! This ensures that CBPC's level of care and service is always as high as it can be.

I am well trained, knowledgeable and experienced in providing the highest standard of care, training and companionship for all of your furry friends from Horses to Hounds and even Hamsters.
With a personal, aswell as professional specialist interest in Animal Behaviour & Training (in particular Dogs) and years of experience working with Pets and their humans to positively enrich their lives.
